Dusky Fingers Orchid

The Dusky Fingers Orchid is widely distributed in eastern and south eastern Australia. The botanical name is Caladenia Fuscata.

It is a perennial herb that has an underground tuber and just a single leaf.  They are generally rather small being up to 150mm in height.  The Dusky Fingers Orchid produces either a pink or white single flower and bloom in September and October.
