As an inveterate user of Twitter (you can follow me @RicRaftis), I am constantly looking at the websites of the people I am considering for following. I find it amazing that such go ahead professionals such as those on Twitter can have such poor websites. Obviously this is not true in all cases, but several I have seen recently really don't promote the professional image that a business needs to convey as the first port of call for people considering establishing relationships or doing business.

Your website is your flagship. It is the most important promotional tool you have in the online world and if it still looks like an escapee from the early 90's, then you are not doing yourself any favors in attracting new customers.

Websites should be considered as the strongest representation that you have of your business. Would you operate from premises with rubbish lying around out the front, paint peeling from every board on the facia and broken bits hanging everywhere? Of course you wouldn't, so why do it with your website?

Vistitors to websites today look for clean, user friendly environments that are easy to navigate. You should also consider always having the ability for visitors to feedback on your content as this is the whole concept of Web 2.0. Interactive sites are very important so visitors can make comments on your content and these comments can well become testimonials to your service and products.

A modern, interactive website WILL increase your conversion rates, levels of visitors and consequently your profits. Don't be satisfied with a second or third rate website as I'm sure this is not the image you wish to portray to the online world. It only says on first impressions that you are a second or third rate business and I'm confident this is not what you want visitors to be thinking.

Why not talk to us here at Bushsong today about how we can lift your website into the 21st century and help bring you the success you deserve.
